Loose body mount bolt (hexagonal bar/nut) - Advice Requested
Took the factory side steps off this weekend, easy and straight forward. Took the step mounting brackets and they all came off without issue...
Here's my quandary. The Passenger front Bracket, when I went to get it off I could wiggle the body mount bolt (hexagonal bar/nut - no idea what this thing is called) before i even took off the bracket. Now that the bracket is off I can turn it by hand but never tighten or loosen...it just spins. My questions is do I care? How would I tighten (is the only option to pull up my very nice carpet floors). Could I just shim it? Open to thoughts concerns and advice. The other 3 seem solid as can be. Photos for reference - Thanks in advance.
FYI - I plan on leaving the body mount bolts as is until I decide on rock sliders/no rock sliders in case I need them for install/brackets.

Reason: forgot to mention
I attach the installation manual for your reference.
I believe the top part of the long hex piece has a slot for a bolt - similar in function to the Thule part from a bike rack attachment as shown in the pic below. You have to use a wrench to hold the top bolt, then turn the hex part using another wrench.
This hex bolt is NLA. If you are looking to sell the set of Chevron steps to another individual, I recommend not losing these hex bolts.
Manual very helpful, thank you. Didn't realize the bolts where NLA - better keep em intact - read a bunch of folks just grinding them off.
I didn't see that I could access that top bolt on the front but will check again. I try to be well prepped when I go out to my cold garage in VT to turn a wrench in winter.
