Default At a loss...blinker problems

So,
To start off, I have searched quite a bit on here for solutions with no success to my problem...

My blinker started acting funny, when moving it to the left signal position it has begun to click much faster then it does naturally like the right side. In addition, I noticed my left rear signal indicator has also gone out.
I completed all the obvious remedies, changed out the bulb, swapped relays under the dash around to see if the problem would follow to the right side, swapped appropriate fuses around (under the dash and under the hood), and cleaned the contact point in the bulb socket. Still, the fast clicks remain and no left rear signal indication from the bulb.

Other things to note;
-When the emergency flashers are turned on the speed of the flashing is that of the left signal, abnormally quick
-All other left signals (front quarter panel, head light) work in cadence with the quick clicking.
-The entire right side works correctly

Any help would be huge as I am completely lost at this point. Thanks!

Use a volt meter to check for voltage at the socket on rear left. It is not likely, but possible, you have two bad bulbs.

I actually tried two bulbs, so there's definitely no power going to the socket. Last night I removed the switch and cleaned all the contacts. Everything is back and installed with the same problems.
