Low Oil Pressure After rebuild
It was either $45 for a oil pressure test kit, or $11 for the switch. So I decided to go with the switch.
Had to remove the alternator and bracket, and then I could squeeze a 15/16th deep socket onto the plug to remove it.
the switch probably got a swig of that synthetic grease, it is a very small orifice in the oil pressure switch. it is a common problem when people try to flush there engines, only takes a spec of the grim to block the oil pressure switch. all is good now?
And yes! Drove it on the interstate yesterday back home. Ran like a champ. Still have a light exhaust leak on the passenger side (some gargling) and my SRS light came on.
The SRS is mostly cause the car hasn't been driven in over a month and as soon as I moved my seat, the light popped on. Going to clean the seat belt switch under the seats later today.
