Default lower steering column replacement

All,
Went to replace my lower steering column over the weekend and ran into a problem. I bought a new one from AB but it does not match mine on my truck. On the new one, the top and bottom U-Joints are 90 degrees out from mine. see pics. The guys at AB say it is the only one they sell for my 04 Disco. Has anyone run into this before? I found the same part number at British Pacific and their picture matches my column. All the bolts are in line. Name: AB-QME500060_zps9dcef285.jpg

Will it fit and not bind up? If so, I'd just put it in. For the most part the shaft just sits there. It's not like a driveshaft that spins constantly while driving, where the u-joints have to be clocked a certain way to prevent vibrations.

Sorry should have added that the splined shafts on both the steering box and upper steering column are grooved to accept the bolt as it passes through the clamp part of the u-joint. I could use this one but I would have to pull the steering wheel off and re-position it 90 degrees after install. Just not sure I want to go through all that...and not even sure I can actually do that without screwing something up...

Update...
According to MICROCAT it looks like there are two lower steering columns for the DISCO 2. They change the u-joint configuration after VIN number 3A802783. The older model is part number QMN100330 and the later model is QME500060.

Now to talk to AB and see if they can get the correct part for me. Looks like they are selling the earlier model column with the later model part number.
