I am thinking limp mode is when the computer goes in to a protect mode and you can only go at a limited speed? I had 6 months of that and it was in and out of the dealership. I suggested quite often that maybe it was a split in a turbo pipe only to be told it wasn’t. Eventually I was told it was a manifold computerised valve that regulated the flows in the exhaust manifolds. 2 at about 1k each. When they stripped everything off to replace the valves they told me they found s split in a turbo pipe
