MAF CLEANING??

Default MAF CLEANING??

I want to clean my MAFon my 97 Discowithout hurting it.
What is the best way to do so?

No, don't clean it, they say you'll ruin it.

Why do you want to clean your MAF, do you have some fault codes if so which ones?
Last resort you can clean a D1's Maf using electrical contact cleaner from Radio Shack, may or may not help. Never try and clean a Bosch MAF like what you would find on 99 and newer D2's and Range Rovers cause it will kill them for sure.

I've heard of it helping on other trucks with misfire codes. I have found that the root of some codes may be something else than what is shown. Just like the O2 sensors causing a problem with no codes.
Just a thought.
