MAF Plug
I just got off the phone with Marvin. Apparently there is a problem with a misfire, all cylinders and so there is an issue with the harness. The entire coil pack is not getting a signal. Fix is $950 replace applicable harness, and reprogram.
To my knowledge both a bad TPS and CPS can cause this. Should I try to put in a new Bosch CPS first? The TPS is a new Duralast.
Says the sensors have all checked out. What do you guys think? Could it be a bad ground or something related?
This guy has always been right.

Got her back.
CPS, MAF and ECT Sensor wirinvvjad to be fixed. I may have done something during HG adventure, but who knows.
also, the BCU was not communicating properly with the ECM. Marvin talked to whoever his scanner company is, or someone, said that I should not use scangauge for 6 weeks or so. Something about giving the computer some time to get set or something. I don’tknow. Not a big deal the cooling system is in great shape, but what am I going to do if I can’t stare and obsess about temps, voltage, gas mileage and rpm’s?
just happy she is fixed. Took them 2.5 days of work, and Marvin has never failed me.

Great to hear Collie!
I know how emotionally invested I can get in my truck so I am sure you are feeling better. Sometimes it is best to hand her over to someone who has the time and resources to sort out a tricky problem.
Hope this is the last major issue for at least a while!

I hear that! It really runs awesome, and it took them 2.5 days, meaning it would have taken me a month. That's two experienced mechanics with heavy duty scanner, and proper equipment.
how is your truck running? Are you loving the upgraded Cam?
After Marvin’s wiring fixes, and reprogramming the engine is idling very smooth. As he suggested, I am not connecting the scangauge so I don’t know exactly what the idle is, but the ECU seems to be adjusting to all the mods.
