Default MAF sensor
I purchased a MAF sensor months ago for my 2004 Disco II.

I went to install it yesterday and it is the wrong one. The one I have is a 217 not the 218 sensor. The length and diameter is slightly different. Is it possible to pull the sensor out of the 217 and put it in the 218?

If you are referring to the different size body, yes, you can just swap the sensor over to the correct housing.
