Default In the market for a 2003 disco

I found a 2003 discovery for sale in my area and im not sure if its a good deal.

This is the ad:

Selling modified 2003 Land Rover Discovery II S "As Is" for $4700. 93,705 miles. This vehicle has significant modifications that would make it an ideal Off-Roading Rig. It runs really well (just passed Emissions Test) but, has a few items that need to be replace. . . great for a winter project and Spring off-roading!

I'm the second owner and I have not been off-roading with it in the last 3 years. I hold the vehicle title for quick and easy purchase. Bank Check or Cash. No Trades.

Interior is clean!

Modifications totaling $13,060:
• Old Man Emu (OME) 4" Lift + OME Extended Shocks

• Driver & Passenger Windows inoperable
• Power Steering Leaks
• ABS Unit not functioning. Therefore Hill Descent and Traction Control not operational.
• It has a Colorado windshield. . . several cracks and stone chips.
• Some rust on the bumper & sliders.
I also have all the repair work receipts from the last 4 years I've owned it.

New or Recent Repairs:
• New Red Top Optima Battery
• Water Pump & Throttle Body Defrost Kit
• Replaced with used transmission by JCs Rover's, <100,000 miles

The front bumper looks REALLY busted up, wondering if that leads to more damage or not.... Loook underneath and around rusty areas. Overall it doesn't look too bad, the interior is pretty bad though.

ah man.
These people who modify everything..
They usually really take the Rover to it's limits to test the mods.

And then -
it breaks as the mods are shoe horned in.

I would just get a stock rover.
Unless this guy is giving it away for $3,000 or so.

What he told me was he got the front bumper for free and that was how it came, also the inside looks far better in person. He said he would give it to me for $3800

He's dropping that price pretty easily, I'd be really suspicious.

It's really really hard to tell, but is the coolant low in that picture? Looks like it almost goes inline with the clip for the jack.
