Master Cylinder Replacement
I need to replace the master cylinder on my '01 D2.
Is there a consensus on which one is best?
I'm weary of some aftermarket manufacturers.
I'm considering this one from British Parts of Utah

I pretty much just buy whatever new part is cheapest for parts like this. It's a pretty simple mechanism, so there's not a lot to mess up. I'd say that one is perfectly fine.
When bleeding them, bleed before the ABS module first. Crack the nuts leading into it and bleed there before you bleed the rest of the system. That will prevent the ABS module from getting much air in it and you wont have any problems with soft brakes that way.

It is cheaper to get a rebuild kit if yours isn't physically damaged.
I rebuilt mine in December and have not had any issues with it since.
