Default Max Tire with NO trimming Disco 1 Stock

I need help deciding on a tire. I am driving the tire store crazy. I ordered 235/70/16 tires, then I read I can fit 245/75/16 on there. Then I read that they require trimming. I read that a 245/70/16 will fit fine with no modifications. Any one help here? Anyone running these tires?

Thanks

245/75 will fit. You may have to space out the rear skirts of you articulate alot, but most light trails and in town you will be fine. I run 235/75 with no problems at all. I have a friend running 255/60 with no problems either. May have to adjust steering stops with the wider tires.

Look under your truck where the rear fender wells attach. You can unbolt and add a spacer to flare the rear and miss the tire instead of trimming.

When I say skirt I mean the bottom part of the back of the rear fender. It hangs down like a skirt.

I am running 255/70/16 and they rub on the front on hard turns. No problems on the rears. They are Goodyear Silent Armor and they perform great in mud and ice and are quite on the highway.
