Default Meaning of Three 3 Amigos?

What are the three amigos on a 2003 Discovery? Today on a rainy day, my wife called and said she saw these three lights on the dash...TC, ABS, and the Hill Descent lights. I did a search on the forum and I think the three amigos are those things, right?

We have had intermittent brake squealing, but since it has not been consistent I haven't looked any farther into it. Does this mean I should at least replace the brake pads?

Thanks,
David

Correct on the definition and how many miles are on those pads? How much pad material do the front ones have left?

Yes, 3 amigos ia ABC, TC, and hill decent warning lights. Squealing brakes will trigger the 3 amigos. Someone with a D2 who knows more will chime in I'm sure. D1s don't suffer from the 3 amigos so I have no experience other than what I read.

Thanks for your help. I'll have to look at those brake pads soon. It doesn't surprise me if I need to replace them...they sure create alot of brake dust! LOL

Dust, noise, a bad hub, dirty fluid, bad abs sensor, bad shuttle valve, bad abs module and even more can cause the 3 amigos. So take a look if there is noise or a lot of dust replace the pads (if low) or clean them with brake cleaner. Then do a quart brake fluid flush all 4 tires. Go from there.

I got my 3 amigos RIGHT AFTER I had my D2 jet washed. I'll never do jet wash again.
