Default Metal paint recommendation.

I just received my new Gywn Lewis Sumo drag link, track bar and HD tie rod ends. They recommend Hammerite to paint the HD tie rods ends. I have an order ready to go in my Amazon cart, but 1. It wouldn't be delivered until mid May 2. Apparently the manufacturer is discontinuing the line. 3. Do any of you out there have any positive experience with a different product like a rustoleum to treat the bare surface?

TIA,

Hugh

I've had good experience with the Rustoleum High Performance Enamel, Rustoleum Tractor and Implement Paint and VHT All Weather Epoxy or their Rollbar & chassis paint. Really, any product which is intended for "chassis paint" should work for you.

Those are really good ideas. The cad plating is an interesting process with great attributes. I think I'm just going to stick with the can of Rust-Oleum to see how that lasts. Now I'm thinking I should have painted them a bright color rather than just black
