metallic gurgling sound when idling or in park
Hey all,
I have had this problem for a while, but it has gotten worse recently. It is a metallic gurgling noise that is only apparent when at idle. When driving or accelerating everything sounds fine. I have also noticed that the idle RPMs dip below the line below 1,000 (2nd from 0, I guess around 666 RPMs). When it dips low I hear the sound, so I am thinking it may be an air flow thing.
I have recently cleaned the throttle body and MAF and IACV, as well as a seafoam treatment in the intake and BG44K injector cleaner. It's a 2002 discovery 2 with around 93K on it.
I took a short video to help, but I am unsure how to upload it to the forum, can anyone give me some advice?
Thanks!
