04 disco to 220,000 km is misfiring like crazy the plugs have changed the wires are changed it’s still misfiring the cats smell plugged what’s my next step?

 

Which cylinders are misfiring? Have you had the codes read? If the misfiring cylinders are all on one side, that gives us a clue.

5 and 7 are on different coils, so we can likely rule that out. Did you change wires recently perhaps, maybe you swapped locations? If not, start by swapping plugs with 1 and 3. If that does not work, you need to swap wires with 8 and 6. Then swap coils. After coils swap injectors with cylinders on that are not misfiring.
