Default MK I Tank Tea Maker

I was wondering if there is is a draw on the battery while my DII is off and the alarm is disarmed. I don't seem to have a tea maker that came in the MK I tanks in WWII and the Korean war:-) how cool is that look it up!
I have a new battery in my dining room to keep it warm it's been in the low teens here not taking wind chill into consideration.
Here's my question does the DII draw current with the alarm disarmed and will I kill the radio if I swap batteries?? I purchased the truck with 4.6HSE Manuals that I found tucked away in the Disco so I have no radio codes if I need them? Thanks for all the help folks J-mon.

I've never had to enter a radio code in my 2002 DII and I've had the battery unhooked for extended periods. There will always be a bit of parasitic draw with modern vehicles you can measure it with a multimeter, should be very small like 10 mA or something. Also in the long run heat kills a battery moreso than cold, though cold can be bad too (reduces capacity)

Default Tea Time in the British Tank!

Thanks for the info. Back in the 1970's i used to have a Uncle with a fridge full of flashlight batteries! :_) that is true to a certain extent. I have the car battery in a cooler room raised off the floor. I just can't leave it in the boot of the Rover as it doesn't work as my Aux. jump start battery after spending the week out in single digit temps.
When I got out of the hospital during this last cold snap nothing on my vehicle list would start.(long story short don't smoke for 18 years it catches up to you when you get close to 40 STUPID HABIT That almost cost me my life even though I haven't had one in years.)
Thanks for the battery info with the stereo the stupid Audi S4 killed the crappy stereo in it twice due to disconnecting it to work on the engine(this is the Bo se system too and its trash. Too bad it didn't kill the massive cell phone in the center console of the Audi complete with miles of spiral cord for your talking convenience!!!! I should post a photo.
Anyone wondering about the British Main Battle Tank and Tea Trivia Title, all MK I Tanks from European theater during WWII were they played a huge role against the AXIS powers and were they were crucial to holding the high ground in the mountains of the Korea War had a Tea Maker that worked off the Aux. Diesel engine. The engine ran everything but the actual forward movement of the tank apparently the Tea Maker it powered worked great!
Thanks again for the code info,
Jeremy
