Clean it, but don't try to move the parts. When powered up the computer moves them in very small steps in one direction or the other. You have a vacuum leak (whistle). Sometimes partial blocking the air intake from the air filter will make the vac noise louder and easier to find. Some times listening thru a few feet of hose helps focus on the noise. Sometimes moving a wet towel over or around all sides of suspect areas will muffle the noise.

Whenever working under the hood with engine on be safe. Eye protection, long hair secured. Fan belts love the taste of dreadlocks....

Let the computer do the moving. You can power up with it plugged into the harness and see it move. Needs carb cleaner.

Well it is loud. Seems like you could localize it, maybe listen thru a yard stick touched to various spots. Don't forget all the PCV plumbing.
