Since Mobil 1 does not offer plain old 10W40 as specified in my owners manual, are you using 10W30 instead? That is what I went ahead and purchased, but then I saw High Mileage 10W40 on the Mobil 1 web site. Going to do the maintenance this weekend and wondering if I should switch or stick with the 10W30. TIA as always.

I run the 10/40 high miler in the summer and the 10/30 high miler in the winter.

 

Go with the 10w-40. Use what you bought then switch.
