Followed the instructions, unplugged everything connected to ECU, battery, etc...,
The truck turns over, plenty of fuel, spark but will not start. I double checked the fuses in the engine compartment. Blown 40amp fuse and noticed no R6 relay, 40 amp fuse at spot #F5. Could this be the riddle to my issue?

The fuse you listed is the cooling fan fiuse, important to be there.

You changed engines, so you have a new crank position sensor. If it is off just a tad, crank but no start.

attached are more diagrams.

Default Crank position sensor.

How could the sensor be off? I replaced the salvage motor sensor with the original. Spacers refitted correclty, etc...

Cooling fan? My truck does not have an electric fan. Also, requirements for the relay?

Double checked the spark plug wiring (5th time), (I can't get over the fact that it started up a week ago, although it was running rough, and with the switch of the wires, now will not start at all...)

I also have a large plug very close to the fuse box (orange) that is not used?

Any help is very appreciated.

Cooling fan may be electric fan for the AC condenser.

see attached on CKP sensor.

Did not see relay with that number, where is the socket located? There might be an optional relay location for the heated front windshield option.

There are more threads that end this way, a cliff hanger. Just part of the process. It really is a big help to all when the thread is closed out with results, good, bad, or downright self deprecating........

Really sad. I've seen several stories like this where they just finally gave up; they could use this info. I know sruff got his Disco running but he never said how. I even sent a pm to him and he has never replied. sucks!
