i know it controls the fuelpump, but what else is controled by the multi,i saw it somewhere, but cant find where i saw it. thanx

 

Your fuel pump relay controls only the fuel pump, along with the fuse. Why do you ask?

 

couple months ago i was have fuel problems,like the truck was running out of gas at 70mph or above sometimes. i replaced the fuel pump still did not work, then i cleaned the connection fired right up. but now its acting up again,just wanted to see by the name being multi, i thought it meant several,im going to trace the harness from the fuel pump back and check the connection. since you say the multi only controls the pump.thanx

 

What year is the truck, if a D1, have you changed the fuel fulter?
Have you tested the fuel pressure when it stalls?
