Multiple issues on my 01 discovery II
I have multiple problems with my 2001 discovery II currently, Aside from my check engine light, and my rear suspension light being on( I recently converted over to coil springs) i also ran through a huge puddle and set the srs light off as well. The good news is i haven't seen the 3 amigo's since lol but my closet dealer is 2 1/2 hours away so i need to find a garage that is local with the proper scan tool to reset the srs, suspension light and check engine light. Anyone know which scan tools will work on these land rovers? Also since replacing the coils and pulling all fuses and unplugging the compressor even with a new battery it won't hold a charge for more then a day.

Auto parts stores can read basic codes (not ABS) and reset.
If battery is new and cables are clean and tight, and charge voltage is 13.8 - 14.2 volts, sounds like a serious overnight drain.
One way to track this is with engine off, measure for battery volts. Keep watching while you pull each fuse in underhood fuse box, and if no change, un-bolt each fuse link. Volts should rise just a tiny bit hen the load is removed. You can also use the amp meter fuction to monitor drain as you remove fuses. Pretty much everything starts in the underhood fuse box.

Mike thanks for the phone call and help today i appreciate it alot. I forgot to ask after we determined i had already pulled the 30 amp fuse do you have any other ideas on the battery drain issue? I never had a problem until i swapped over to coil springs and i have unplugged both plugs on the compressor so i am kinda stumped. I am going to do what savannah buzz said but didn't know if you had any other suggestions.
