Wink My 2000 Disco II just turned 198,000 miles...

The steering wheel wobbles, the amigos have been on for at least 5,000 miles, my drivers side window won't go down again, my service engine soon amber light comes and goes away, the brakes are squeakin with one or two outta wack, the back end slams down when I go over a speed bump, my horn buttons & springs pop out at me if I touch em, the inside of the cab get's hot as hell like my back is on fire, gots me a new 18" long crack in the windshield, wipers are barely slappin' time, but i'm gonna driver her til she dies...she just won't die.

So, fix it up a little and get another 100,000 miles on it and then give her a rest.

The steering wheel wobbles (tyres, aligment or steering component), the amigos have been on for at least 5,000 miles (pull the ABS codes and come back), my drivers side window won't go down again (regulator), my service engine soon amber light comes and goes away (go to an Autozone and get the stored codes read bring it back to us), the brakes are squeakin with one or two outta wack (get urself some new brakes.. obv), the back end slams down when I go over a speed bump (your suspsneion is shot), my horn buttons & springs pop out at me if I touch em ($118 part just two screws holdin the srs unit on and a wire connector youre done), the inside of the cab get's hot as hell like my back is on fire (not sure what this means), gots me a new 18" long crack in the windshield ($240 for a new one), wipers are barely slappin' time (not sure what that means, get urself a used motor off of a truck being parted), but i'm gonna driver her til she dies...she just won't die (never).

it sounds like you want it to die so you can get something else..you should just sell it to somebody that will take better care of it and go buy a honda.

I definately plan to get her straight and drive her for another 100,000. It's my huntin' and metal detecting vehicle - so I have to!

Thanks for the replies.
