Default My Exhaust Note. "Take a listen"

Turn it up and take a listen.

I removed my stock muffler and resonator and replaced it with a Flowmaster Pro Series shorty muffler.

Sounds mean, man. There's days I miss my Flowmaster 40, but the drone was unbearable. The high flow cats helped (and by helped, I mean made it that much louder especially inside the cabin.)

Wondering of I should hold off on exhaust till get back from my 2k mile trip? Truck has cats and resonatorand was going to remove muffler with flo 2chamber knock off. But plan to have kids watching movies way there. So maybe I should wait till I get back.

That Flowmaster knock off is the 40 series, same as mine was. I'll tell you now, the deep drone is as bad as with straight pipes. You could do a glasspack if that's your style. The Thrush is an ok sound and the drone isn't bad. A Borla Pro XS is a great option. Awesome sound, very little drone. The 40 series is headache inducing. If you're going to leave the resonator (I did for a while) it helps a lot, but it'll still drone. Actually, I dint remember how much it droned with the reso.

I used a Magnaflow while removing the resonator and the drone isn't bad. It sounds quiet at idle, but mean when you step on it.

Rover V8 is a nice sounding engine...

Magna flow cats and cat-back exhaust.. about 5k on it.
