Hi

I have a 96 Lr Disco 1 and wheni revabove2000 rpm and let it go, itgoes down to normal to idle speed for 1-2 sec then it revs to 1500 rpm for 1-2sec then it goes down back to idle speed.I there something wrong with it?

Did not drive or start for 3 Weeks.

Most likely the idle control unit is dirty or shot. Also check for vaccum leaks.

Where is the idle control unit located? And how much will it cost to get one?

 

Do you have any check engine light on, have you checked for codes, what are they?
