Default Need help installing a CB RADIO?

I just did this today also. And same as the gear shift indicator, i also took pictures for easier installation. Let me know if anyone needs help. It's about time to return the favor and contribute to this forum.

it was really easy. took about 2 hours to do the whole thing. but of course, ive already planned where to mount the handset and the junction box, and also where to route the cables.

it looked really clean. no cables in sight except for the one that comes from the handset. now all i have to do is go to my local cb shop and have it tuned. oh by the way, i mounted the antenna on the driver side by the windshield. and routed the cable through a bundle of wires that is sealed by a rubber housing. didnt have to cut it or anything. i just squeezed it through.

What you could have also done was the following: Disco 98, I attached the CB Radio to the back of the center console and fed the wirde under the carpet to the fuse box and to the battery. The cable for the attenna i put under the carpet and fed to the back of the Disco passenger side tail light assembly panel. In that panel there is a rubber gromet that youcan fed the cable through. I then attached the antenna on my rear ladder on the back door. Works great, clean look. Hope this helped.
