would the alternator drain the battery? cuz i put in a new battery the day i started this post and now its dead and it only started three times on that battery.

Yes. You could also have a short and that is draining your battery. Have your alternator tested.

It could also be that there is no output from your alternator and all your power has been from the battery. Have your alternator checked.
