The original valve cover gaskets came installed by a shop with the new Turner engine 3 years ago. It started leaking like a baby's diaper within a year. It has been re-tightened twice and the leaking has not stopped.

Therefore, today is the day to completely replace to new gaskets. Fingers crossed on these new FEL-PRO gaskets.
I use blue Loctite. I also finally bought an in-lb torque wrench because I was so tired of the valve cover leaking. After using that and torquing to spec, haven't had a leak from a valve cover since.

Blue loctite works, or just plain old silicone. You are basically torqueing it till the valve cover squeezes down to the steel bushing and then just snug on the bolts. The bushings keep us from squeezing the gaskets out. Obviously LR decided they needed patches on the bolts because of the problematic loosening.

I discarded mine and replaced with bolts that do not need an 'special' tool to remove them, and they have not moved nor created leaks in 10 years.
