So I pretty much follow this forum everyday and I'm learning about my 04 which is great but I've been swing on here more and more overheating issues some slipped sleeves and gaskets etc.
my question is my 04 got a new block from Atlantic British 3 years ago so is my new engine still going to be affected by overheating issues such as slipped sleeves or have the figured this thing out yet ??

 

It's a 4.6 so yes if allowed to over heat. Pay extra attention to your maintenance, especially the cooling system and you will most likely be fine.
