Sorry for yabbering alone, maybe someday these monologues are help to others.

Got the 433MHz receiver, swapped it and it works.
2 new keys programmed and one left for spare with the 315MHz PCB.

Gapped the plugs from 0.7mm to 1.0mm and it does run smoother now. Did not go drive it, but idling and a bit of revving.

Also listened to the idle with my stethoscope a bit more.
Nothing alarming from valvecovers or heads right next to exhaust ports.
Then listening to the exhaust a bit down from the engine and HAHA!

There it is.

Its the same side exhaust that has cylinder 6 still misfiring.
That side also has the original cat in the exhaust.

Oh man I just need that misfire cleared.......
I know I can get it pass MOT as is, but I want to be honest and it to actually pass.
I do care of my vehicles.

AAAAAND!

Rimmerbros seems to have all my ordered items in stock now, so Hope they pick'n'pack it quickly.

They've been standing up in the sauna since yesterday dripping water.
Trunk carpet was best, not really even wet.

Drivers seat frame.. legs, whatever.. looked kinda bad.

Plenty of mainly surface "fordium" present. I knocked around and all seemed solid. Just need to properly clean up and paint.
I quess the truck has been sitting a long time tilted left and front as there really was nothing elsewhere than this corner.

And here's what not so good anymore. Will be fixed next week, ie I pay someone to weld this and the small front chassis rot.

Also put in a new bigger battery to replace the one previous owner put in just before we closed the deal. Cheapest smallest possible he apparently could find. And with the terminals wrong way around.

Dangit, can't seem to able to edit the original topic. Would have liked to edit it to "New 2004 D2 (4.6L V8) in family, needs plenty of TLC"

Well, the first actual time driving Betty is now done.
~30km trip from home to work.

Seems to work nice, nothing major to report than the exhaust noises due crappy leaky exhaust and the misfire.

On one uphill it kinda felt sluggish, so hit the pedal and kickdown drop a gear, pushed more and dropped another,
made her yell, but not too much of an acceleration present.
I'll mark it to the misfire department.

Had Nanocom on all the way and checked the coolant temps once in a while. Staid in ~90-93 celcius.
I'll check the coolant level before I leave work to see how much of it has gone.
Had some faults in and read them with Nano and cleared. I'll come back to this later today.

It's a bit noisy, a ~clean tarmac with brand new studded tires, windy and no interior.

Oh, and had the wife follow me in her car all the way, just in case.....
