For mounting your tent, I just started a new way. I’ll post pics at some point, but it’s he deal of using boards and simply sliding it up and on.

I got 2 2”x6”x12’ and then bent a couple small pieces of metal to hook on the rack. This was the easiest mounting of the tent yet for me- including using a hoist I have to remove the hard top on the Jeep. The aluminum rails on the tent slid really easily on the wood, and 12’ makes he angle about 40 degrees, so easy to push up and over. Others use their winch, but I don’t have one on the Disco.

I'm going to load into a truck bed and go over to a loading dock nearby and do it. Also there are some pallets that I can use to make a couple steps. Should be good. I was thinking of something like what you said too but thought it might be too difficult. Now that you've done it, I know it works for next time I need to load/unload. Thanks
