New Disco II owner....of course...I need help
Both pretty clean looking rigs. Yes, there's never enough money it seems...lol.
Slow and steady wins the race though on vehicle restorations. Just chose how much you can spend annually and work within those boundaries. You just have to remember...break the annual fund into two portions; things you'd like to do and things that "need" to be done immediately (to keep it on the road, if driven daily). If you spend all of your funds in the "like to do" category...one day...you'll have a great looking rig that will be broken down.
Good luck, with both of your endeavors.
Brian.

The Disco II frame is getting rusty. May have to try and stem the rotting process. The Series IIA is good other than the radiator needs work. My kids love both. The disco will be a daily driver. My wife has taken over my 2014 Toyota Fj. So I need a fun truck to do my daily work. I am a federal park ranger and backpacker/climber. Need a truck to get me to some remote locations. Not the best "wrench monkey" but I am willing to learn. I have lurked on this site for awhile before signing up. I will need the help of the experts on this site to get me through the Dumb @$$ that dwells in me. The agency I work for had a Series III land rover stored in the "Water Experiment Station years ago. I was on training and snooping in a storage area. Under a tarp was a seafoam green Series III 88". I fell in love right there. This was in the mid 1990's. I heard they auctioned it off to get rid off. Sad. Always been in love with rovers even before that. Would love a LR4, Defender 110 NAS, 1995 RRC...etc. Well, I can dream..
Cheers, Aloha and Hasta...
