Update on the Motorad thermostat. Truck maintains 188 to 194 almost all the time. Rarely will get up to 197 for a couple of seconds when idling.

Great. Now you also want to consider starting new threads about issues, so that the problems/solutions are more bite sized. You have made the jump to skilled enthusiast rapidly. And your threads will be eagerly read by other members, both old and new.

It gets attention because people know you can make your own expressway exit and they'll follow your trail.
