Default New foam on the a/c diverters

has anybody got a good write up on the a/c door foam replacement? Noticed the foam has been deteriorated and need replacement to help divert everything properly.
Thanks in advance

Do you mean the long foam strip just above the front plastic cowl where the wipers are located?

You can find similar foam material at Home Depot and cut it to size to fit. Perhaps something like this:

Post how you get on with these Luckyjayb as mine need doing also and I fear it's a biggish and messy job to do. IMO you'll need some heatproof foam and glue, probably impact adhesive to glue the new foam pads into place.

2 are accessible if you remove the windscreen cowl, 2 are accessible if you remove the dash center and I'll have to look at the schematic for the rest. I was thinking headliner spray adhesive and push em good onto them since it is high temp glue

Good one Luckyjayb, I didn't think of headliner adhesive

That's what I used when I rebuilt and old 1978 ford f100 to hold the foam in place. I also used the flat foam out of a pelican case

I used a thick window sealant foam for house Windows from lowes or Home Depot. It came in a roll and I just cut down the pieces I needed, had to do it for the roof vents for the rear AC. Seems to have worked
