New guy, trouble already
Electric cooling fan switching points:
For A/C system:
⇒ On When vehicle speed is 50 mph (80 km/h) or less and ambient
temperature is 28 °C (82 °F) or more
⇒ Off When vehicle speed increases to (62.5 mph (100 km/h) or ambient
temperature decreases to 25 °C (77 °F)
For engine cooling during normal running:
⇒ On 100 °C (212 °F)
⇒ Off 94.5 °C (202 °F)
For engine cooling at ignition off (to counteract heat
soak):
⇒ On If, within 10 seconds of ignition off, intake air temperature is 60 °C (140
°F) or more and engine coolant temperature is 110 °C (230 °F) or more
⇒ Off After 10 minutes or if engine coolant temperature decreases to 100 °C
(212 °F)

Awesome info guys. Wow, thank you-thank you!
Some more troubleshooting fodder; I let her run for a good 20 minutes or so with a few revs of the pedal during. Torque reported a pretty steady temp of 194*F. No heat in cabin still but a couple observations.
One pipe that goes to firewall into cabin is hot, the other is cool. Also the very lowest radiator hose that comes off the bottom of the t-stat is cool while the other hoses are hot. I'm thinking the t-stat isn't opening.
New t-stat on list to replace this weekend along with CPS replacement right??

Flush the heater core sounds clogged
Yep. This fixed fixed my heating issue, Pulled the heater hoses off and just used my garden hose to run water in each of the pipes and I had heat again. With as many people on here that end up with heater issues I'm guessing the passages are pretty small and don't take much to clog up.

The CPS isn't that hard to get to if you don't have an 03-04 with the OEM splash shield still in place. Very carefully I was able to replace mine by just laying on my back and using a small 1/4 drive ratchet I was able to remove the cover screws/bolts, sit the cover over on the frame rail, then remove the actual CPS. The hardest part is the plug, I was able to get to mine as it was no longer in it's clip on the engine, but it can be tricky.
A couple hours and come very cramped 45 year old hands I've got the CPS/cover changed out.
She starts right up, runs as quiet as a mouse now.
If I didn't mention it before, got the t-stat changed and flushed the heater core. I have heat and new coolant too, system is bled of air as well. Also it was warmer today and the aux fan came on when I switched to A/C. At the moment I'm good to go with the exception of some oil drips on the garage floor and a slight amount of coolant still seeping from an unknown location on the drivers side. TB heater isn't the suspect, something a little further down. More to come on that.
You all are the best, thanks again for your help.

I generally hate the phrase, "It is what it is," but what geniuses designed the CKPS connection? It was obviously designed by people who would never need to change one and who didn't care about those who would need to do so.
It could've so easily been designed so that the connector was in a much more accessible place. I remember changing mine a few years ago. Bastards.
