You've probably called the right shot there, I can't believe 56K on a 10 year old truck living in a big country with high miles everywhere - possibly sounds like a 'ringer' to me. Also €9K or £5,650GBP is a lot of dosh for a 10 year old truck in the UK even if the mileage was genuine. But don't beat yourself up over it there are some nice trucks around over there even on SuperSports list albeit they have realistic mileages. I would guess that 11K miles per year is the normal average for a 4x4 living in a large country so I would reckon something around 100K plus or minus is a good regular truck.

If this is the one at the dealer in Cary, its a shame... it was a good looking truck!

Yes it was...they actually had it inside the shop at the Dodge dealer trying to figure out what to do with it. Fred Anderson Toyota sold it at auction not to long ago...

Those FJs are nice...I'm very tempted but I want a Land Rover darn it!

The sleeves of any D2 would be slipping if it had been severely overheated, maybe multiple times.

Do be concerned if it has been overheated... From what I've read on here a 4.6 can handle being overheated a bit more than a 4.0.

So if it isn't already happening don't worry about it unless you plan on overheating it.
