Default New to me 03 Discovery II

I've been looking at a lot of different vehicles the last 6 months. I daily drive a modded 2 door Jeep Wrangler that I also off-road. I've looked at so many different types of vehicles my head was spinning. Gen 5/6 Camaro SS, Mustangs, E550 coupes and convertibles, 06/07 Land Cruisers, R230 SL550, RAM Power Wagon, etc. I used to have a CLK550 as my daily and the Jeep was my toy but I sold it a couple years ago. Then a Disco popped up in my searches and I started looking at those. This is our forth Land Rover. Wife had an 04 Disco HSE bought slightly used in 04. Then she had an 06 LR3 SE new that we leased. When the lease was up, I found a very low mileage CPO 07 LR3 SE and we had that for 3 years.

BUYER BEWARE - THANK YOU BOOSTLE FOR THE HEADS UP. BELOW IS THE VEHICLE I THOUGHT I WAS BUYING. POSTED THE PICS OF WHEN IT WAS BOUGHT AT AUCTION IN CA. WTF! SAVED BY THE FORUM!

Here it is

Other toys:
2014 Jeep Wrangle Rubicon

Harley-Davidson 2000 FXR4

Is this from a dealer in Philadelphia?

If so, I would recommend not buying sight unseen.

It is, tell me more. I've bought 2 other vehicles sight unseen and not had any issues and they were delivered as advertised.

I feel like I did my due diligence. Pictures, videos, eBay rating and great reviews. I didn't get a PPI but maybe I should find a LR shop near by to do it on Monday.

I just did some research on the seller and not liking what I'm reading. I only have a deposit right now. Going to dig deeper, thanks for the heads up.

read that thread. Ive been to the physical location before and it's almost like a huge chop shop.

They do a really good job of getting cars with major issues and repairing everything so it looks like it came from the showroom.

Maybe you'll get a really good truck but just a fair warning the shop is kinda shady.

As stated above, I did some digging into the dealership and had a melt down. I can Dave Gitman and European Auto and told him to refund my deposit which he did immediately. This is what it looked like before they reconditioned it.

I'm glad as well. It might have been a good vehicle but not to pay a premium price for a car that sold for $3k an insurance auction and was reconditioned. Looks like it was in a flood.
