Take a look at the ABS Pump and see if it has been rebuilt. There should be some wiring changes if they have done the option B fix, which is a good thing. If not, expect to do it at some point.

When I was shopping recently I saw the second one and thought it looked pretty solid. But for me, I didn’t want an SD as I like th moderately added luxury of the SE. the one I just got is an SE7 and has rear AC, functioning airbags in the rear and heated windshield that works.
But that might be something to consider. But staying on point, I’m with the red one and I agree with having a code reader on hand.
As reference, the P1590 code on one of the ones I looked at was a wheel speed sensor as well as the shuttle valve. Neither is a big deal, but a point of reference. On the flip side, having the CDL in there already can save some $$$.

Checking out this Disco on Friday. Emailed the owner and got this response:
I can not tell you much about the car. We bought it about 3 months ago from a dealer. It was running just fine, until one day, when I put it into drive, it would not move anymore. It also leaks a little oil. We probably added about a quart while we had it.
Read up on all the threads i could find where reverse works and none of the other gears work. Best case is the tranny is low on fluid worst is.. new tranny. For the price and the milage, i think it'll be worth a look. Does losing a qt of oil over 3 months seem excessive for Discos?
