hehe, haven't messed with the shock. trying to figure out what all I need to weld on, when I get under there.

back off subject: isn't down travel is the only thing I have room to gain, that is why the long arm approach is appealing

dane, just saw the pic you put up. missed it before.
that be what I am thinking... questions

i figure cm 4130 2"x.250 w/1.50 id tube will be the simplest fab material. surely that is strong enough?

upper arm mount, should be adjustable, no? to tune in angle?

My buddy Don in NH was going to do that... I'm interested in doing that if I don't do a proper 4 link.

yeah, thinking this is easily reversible and the fab up is super simple. it's worth a go, imo.

Looks good particularly the rose jointed articulated radius links. Looks familiarly like a modded up Toyota or Mitzy underneath though. All transferable technology though to a D2.

Dusty just a few more ideas.

Thanks, more to confuse me

this idea also keeps coming to mind...

the axle bracket makes the concept of removing a bolt a little more stable and keeps the arm behind the axle.
superflex and superior make this for lc and patrol......any thoughts?

I'm trying to process this. Is the idea here to have a removable bolt to give you more flex offroad, and put the bolt back in to firm it up for street driving? My concern here would be the thickness of the steel in that bracket so that it wouldn't bend.
