Default New Setup - Terrafirma MD shocks/springs. 2” +1” spacer

Hi All,

Wanted to share my experience with two different Terrafirma suspension lifts that I have done on my truck.
Thanks to Best4x4 for sharing his experience and answering my many emails. Wish I had asked more questions a few years ago.

Running ARB bull bar with winch, roof rack, Rock Sliders, rear TF bumper. So I do have some weight...
Been running the 2” Terrafirma HD spring/shocks on 275/65 tires. I just replaced with the Terrafirma 2” MD springs and Shocks with 1” spacers. I can definitely say the ride is very much improved. The HD setup was pretty harsh in my opinion. My measurements for the 2 different setups are actually very close to each other. From bottom of front fender to ground is about approximately 37”. 22” from center cap to bottom of fender.

hope this helps anyone thinking of upgrading. I’ll update as I get more miles on this setup.

I have the same set up uninstalled for my 04 D2. Mine sits 18.75-19" / 32.5" on a tired stock suspension. I plan to go with 235/85/16 at 31.7" so a bit shorter than 275/65/18. 37" seems like a lot but makes sense with the tires. Are the spacers only on the front or all 4? Where did you get them?

1” spacers are on all 4. Purchased from Atlantic British. Fronts and rears slightly different. Didn’t realize until I installed that they fit under the bottom spring plates and aren’t noticeable.

Good to know. I thought maybe the below was the spacer. Can you send a side profile of the truck?

Yes that is just the stock isolator. I’ll have to get a pic of the side.

Also I did powder coat the spacers silver but you can’t see them.
