Default Update

*Update:

I wanted to have an AB long block installed, but despite saying they have one in stock, they won't be able to provide one until August/September and they require full payment now to reserve it. That just doesn't sit well with me, but maybe I'm the unreasonable one...
Unfortunately the D2 overheated and blew its headgasket. I heard the waterfall from a leak in the heater core, but ignored it 😔 I need my truck to be operational and don't want to do a headgasket repair on an engine with 183,000 miles on it and slipping sleeves that I intend to repair. I may end up opting for an LS swap at this point because I can probably make it happen sooner.

Where'd you do the swap? What was your total cost? I was thinking of doing it myself.

Default LS swap it is...

I'm ***** deep in the swap now. All items shopped for and delivered (still waiting on my LM4, which will be here anyday now). Removed the old motor, installed the new bell housing, currently working on the rover wiring harness while waiting for the LM4.

Thanks again for recommending them. I'll keep this post updated with my progress.
So did you ever go with TWS motors? (The Wedge Shop) I was looking at having them build my motor and wanted to see if anyone had any experience dealing with them.
