Think I got it! Took the advice from all of you and narrowed down to water pump. It was wobbly got a new one can't wait to put it on also got new fan clutch and thermostat thanks buzz! Is there any further advice before I start? Thanks again everyone!!!

While you have the pump off examine the timing cover (behind the water pump). Make sure it hasnt been eaten away by that wobbly impeller.

If its ok, flush the coolant system with a garden hose when you have the new water pump installed and old thermostat off. Make sure the heater is set before you shut the truck off to do this.

X2 about the flush, but don't worry about the heater settings, there is no heater control valve on a D2 (unlike most other vehicles on the planet) so the flow of coolant through the core is unchanged by the setting (stupid design IMO)
