BTW, if you are up for some lab homework, drop some of those crystals into a mix of white vinegar and water (say 50/50). Keep eyes protected. Wonder how long it takes to solvent it into a liquid? 1 hour? 1 day? 1 week?

that is why you never use a radiator sealer, glad things worked out.
Keep a eye on your temps for the next few days some more could break free and clog your t-stat.

Good to know.. Not sure who put the radiator seal in there.. I know block seal was added about 10k ago.

My ultragauge always stays at 208.4 running, 220ish at idle. i know people say thats high, but it is always consistant. which is ok by me.

i know a new thermostat was added about the same time as the block seal... not sure how to check and see if that is working properly, other then monitoring temps (like i mentioned above).

I suppose I could get the whole system flushed?

Block sealer/radiator seal I put it all under the same catagory.
you may find your tempertures dropping sum what, remember with discos the coolant runs thru the heatercore before the radiator. So now that you do not have that blockage in the heatercore the coolant should flow easier hopfully dropping your temps at the same time.

I am curious to see the lab results also. If your up for a experiment give it a go but like buzz stated use your protection face shield and gloves:-)
