SunCourt...here is the shop manual (RAVE): http://www.landroverresource.com/

Use the table of contents on the left hand side as it opens and look for the "In Car Entertainment" tab.

Did you got the upgraded radio that requires the amp? Can just hear a little bit of the sound currently?

If so, I had the same exact problem. The amp is supposed to go under the driver's seat, however, there is no wiring running down there, so you'll have to wire an amp in yourself. Aftermarket is definately the way to go, the stock amps are outrageously priced, and require LandRover connectors and whatnot. The aftermarket amp took me less than a day to wire it all in, and it sounds ten times better than the original radio sounded.

I mounted this one right underneath my driver's seat where the stock DII amp should be. Fit's perfectly. I've ordered tons of stuff from SonicElectronix, and never have had a problem with them.
