No sound from Radio/CD
Hi everyone, long time reader of this forum, but first time posting. You all have been a huge help over the years. I'm stumped on this one.
I have a 2004 D2, S. No frills, just the base model. This one doesn't have a cd changer, no navigation, and as far as I can tell, no amp under the front seat. I can't get any sound from the radio or cd player. I've tried everything I can think of. Checked fuses, pulled the head unit, checked wires, even put in a different head unit and I get the same result.
I have the RAVE manual, wiring diagrams etc...
Every time I turn on the head unit, all the lights are on, cd is functional, just no sound. Theres a faint crackle when I first turn it on but that's it. Any ideas? Is this a short somewhere? Water in a harness someplace?
Any ideas are much appreciated.
JG

Also, I seem to have a persistent wet floor panel on the passenger side up front. All the AC drain plugs are free so I'm not sure where that's coming from...A-pillar? Just wondering if this could somehow be related to a short somewhere or some water getting into a connecter someplace.
