Any tricks to getting the main bearing caps off? Got all the bolts out but man those caps are on there....

Disclaimer…It’s been a long time since I’ve removed a crankshaft, and it wasn’t on a Rover. I seem to remember alignment pins. You might try a few gentle taps with a rubber mallet.

I used a dead blow hammer and some plastic panel tools that were able to act like a soft crow bar to walk them out bit by bit.

I've been busy at work, finally got a chance to work on her again today. I was able to get the main bearings all out and 5 of the rod bearings but 3 of them I cannot get too due to their position. I was thinking the last three would be a problem so now Im at a standstill, any advice?

This is simply amazing that you can't rotate the crank even now. What did the crank/rod bearings look like? Three rod caps still being in place shouldn't stop you from rotating the crank now. The bearings could be total garbage, but that wouldn't stop rotation.

This is going to down as one of the weirdest situations...ever.
