Free the crank up by removing the rod and main bearings, you probably just need to free it up a little and then replace the bearings if they are gouged up.

OK I know this is probably not the answer as it probably a auto box ... but have you checked to make sure its not in gear, because if it is then you will not be able to turn the crank, looking at the photos with the camshaft off and all the valve tight at the top, and no plugs in you should be able to turn the crank

@bmeier no battery hooked the interlock will stop the you from moving out of park. You can manually move it out of the way, by pulling the transmission bezel and depressing it with a screwdriver

Unless you have a manual transmission you should be able to turn the crankshaft by hand if its in park, neutral or whatever. If you torque converter is somehow broken and locked up then you would not be able to turn the crank by hand.

I did not know that. Can I just connect the battery and then try or should I do as you just suggested via manually doing it? Also unrelated but should I replace all the bolts on the main and rod bearings. Im ordering some parts from Atlantic British but trying not to incur the wrath of the wifey too, lol.

Connect the battery and step on the brake pedal.

You don't need to connect the battery. Pressing the lock solenoid under the shifter bezel is exactly the same as having the battery pull the solenoid.

Shifter will move through the gears with battery connected, key forward and brake depressed however the crank is still seized. I'm going to remove the mains tonight but I don't know how I'm going to get all the rod bearings out as a few of the bolts are inaccessible due to not being able to turn the crank, I will try anyways though, maybe a little bit of wiggling and working it might do something.........
