That's awesome. Cut nicely, a piece of plastic, some push clips and a access door can be made too look OEM. 👍🏻

So this clip won't undo for nothing....!!! I cut a monster access door to get at it better and it seems the metal clip that holds it in place is sturdy as can be. I can't for the life of me get out CPS off of the metal clip to undo the connector...???

That area is loaded with old oil residue to make things worse.

Why they would put this in such a spot is RIDICILOUS.

Man that sensor got the best of me this morning. Truck stuck out at the end of driveway sucked too. But hey after a quick vent to the forum (lol) all finally went my way.

so was it the crank shaft positioning switch?

Nice access door!

Yeah, I bought a pair of long needle nose for this job, and man they were worth it for both removing the clip from the back of the block and the plugging/unplugging of the sensor.

I probly should have told you that before you did the job.

The access door was pretty big and getting two hands in there, seeing what you need to do and making it happen was still a puzzle.

Why are my pictures upside down...???

And yes it was a crank sensor, 3 days of driving & so far so good.
