Default No Start Issue

2000 DII

I replaced the battery and now when I go to start it, it runs for one second then shuts off. I tried the unlock/lock three times procedure with no luck. Any help as to my next steps to get this thing running again?

Thanks

Double check your connections. Take the terminals back off and make sure they are clean/tight when you put them back on.

Make sure your inertia switch didn't somehow get triggered.

Chance are the new battery wasn't charged and or your alternator is no good.
Don't worry about the inerita switch, if you can start the engine and then it stalls, there is something else going on. What has it been doing over the last few days.
