I've recently started hearing an odd noise after I turn my 03 Disco HSE off. It sounds like a combination of an Aero Bed inflating (errrrrrrrrr) and a bicycle with a baseball card stuck in the spokes. It starts maybe a second or two after I turn the engine off and goes for about a second and then stops. I noticed it a day or two after I changed my rear tire. I'm not sure if/how it's related, but I thought I'd mention it. It's hard to tell where the sound is coming from, but it sounds like it's coming from the underside toward the front. Any ideas?

Do you have the SLS rear air suspension, if so, it is doing it's usuall venting of excess presure as you get out of the truck.

I do have the SLS suspension. I've heard it hiss before, but this sound is new. Could they be malfunctioning or it that normal and I just never noticed it before?

Mine has always made a short blead off noise after I turn off the key and start to get out. I can't think what else would make that sound.

Hmmm. It just sounds like a little motor running. Oh well, maybe I'll have the dealer take a look.
