Default Noises in the DII

This was from another site
Groaning of steering when vehicle is "cold" (first thing in a.m. and after sitting in parking lot all day at work). When backing up and pulling away from my space, it makes a groaning noise with hard right turns. I back outta my garage straight, put in drive and turn wheel right to go down driveway "groan" (feel vibe in steering wheel). get to end of driveway, hard right onto street "groan". Happens at no - low speed only.
I just bought an 03 last week and I've noticed the same steering noise to the right in the morning....Only does it in the morning when Im pulling out of the house...Usually just to first two right turns and thats it. So is a normal thing??

I've also noticed that when I let of the gas and the truck is slowing down, I here and humming/whining noise, not loud but loud anough to hear it....This is my first AWD truck so Im not sure if this normal...So far I love the truck....I dont plan on doing much off road with this vechicle...I just bought it and and enjoying it to the fullest....

Is this truck still under warranty if so it should go to the shop. The steering noise is not normal, the power train noise is assuming you don't have some bad u-joints on your front drive shaft's constant velocity joint.

Yes when I bought it from a Non-LR dealership, I purchases a 2yr/24k warranty package for it through LR....but I have to pay a $200 deductible everytime I take it in.....

That being the case, you might want to e-mail me your tele number and I will walk you thru flushing the steering system which could take care of that problem.
